RIO AND HIS PROMISE

Rio was a seventh-grade student at SMPN 1 Karangjati. He was a quiet boy who liked playing football and watching videos on his phone. At school, there was one lesson he did not like at all: English.

When English class started, Rio often felt lazy. He did not pay attention and sometimes wished the lesson would end quickly. His English teacher, Mrs. Yanti, noticed this. She knew Rio was smart, but he did not try his best in her class.
